We are conducting three linked studies to understand how AI is reshaping knowledge work. Each takes 5-6 minutes. Your participation helps build the most comprehensive picture of AI's impact on regulated industries.
Understand which parts of your role are most exposed to AI displacement and which capabilities give you a durable edge. Receive a personalised vulnerability profile with a breakdown by task type.
Take the Assessment
Discover how you already use AI compared to your peers, where your adoption is advanced, and where untapped leverage remains. Get a personalised AI adoption profile benchmarked against your sector.
Take the Assessment
Map the organisational and process friction that limits your productivity. Identify the structural bottlenecks, coordination costs, and governance overhead that AI cannot solve on its own.
Take the Assessment
These assessments generate real research data that informs our advisory work, our publications, and the broader industry conversation about AI's impact on knowledge work. This is not a marketing quiz. It is a structured research instrument designed to produce statistically meaningful findings.
Your personal profile and analysis, immediately. As enough data accumulates, benchmarking against your industry, role, and organisation size. Complete all three assessments for a combined AI Position Map showing the full picture of how AI intersects with your work.
You choose whether to contribute to research or keep results private. No email is required to see your results. We never sell data. Our full methodology is published and transparent.
Read our research methodologyMost of what passes for insight about AI and work is anecdotal. A CEO announces that AI replaced 30% of a team. A consultant declares that 80% of jobs will be "transformed." A university publishes a study based on 47 undergraduates completing a writing task. None of this tells a working professional what is actually happening across industries, roles, and organizations.
We believe the people best positioned to describe how AI is changing knowledge work are the people doing the work. Not the vendors selling the tools, not the executives setting the strategy, and not the researchers observing from the outside. The knowledge workers themselves.
Corvair's research program is designed to collect that firsthand experience at scale, in a structured and scientifically rigorous way, and make the findings available to everyone.
Each study takes approximately 6 minutes. You answer questions about your actual experience, not what you think the "right" answer is. There are no right answers.
Every participant receives a personalized profile based on their responses the moment they finish. This is not a teaser or a gated preview. Your full results appear on screen, including a visual profile, a written interpretation, and specific recommendations.
After viewing your results, you can share a link with colleagues. When three or more people from the same organization participate, a team comparison view unlocks, showing how profiles distribute across your group.
Your individual responses are anonymized and combined with thousands of others to produce aggregate analysis that no single organization or research team could assemble on its own. We publish these findings openly through research reports, benchmark data, and peer-reviewed academic papers.
Traditional research recruits a sample and extrapolates. We invite anyone doing knowledge work to contribute their experience directly. This produces a broader, more diverse dataset than any single researcher could assemble. We are transparent about this and account for it in our analysis.
Each study uses four question types: tradeoff pairs, scenario vignettes, best-worst scaling, and rapid rating items. This produces richer, more reliable data and reduces the biases inherent in any single measurement approach.
The studies remain open indefinitely. As more people participate, the findings become more precise and more granular. We publish updated results quarterly and invite participants to retake studies every six months to track how their experience is evolving.
The studies are grounded in the diagnostic framework developed in Proxy.Me: Agentic AI Digital Apprentices by Christopher Jackson, which identifies four structural problems that AI alone cannot solve: structural inertia, knowledge at rest, opaque decision-making, and the AI productivity trap. The book provides the theory. The research tests it.
Anyone who does knowledge work. This includes but is not limited to:
The studies adapt their language based on your situation. If you are a student, the questions reference the career you are preparing for. If you are between roles, they reference your most recent experience. Everyone receives a meaningful, personalized result.
After receiving your results, share your profile with colleagues. Every additional participant strengthens the dataset.
