1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Corvair.ai website, research assessments, or any services provided by Corvair Pte Ltd ("Corvair," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

2. Services

Corvair provides:

  • Website and content: Information about AI governance advisory services, regulatory guidance, research publications, and use case libraries available at corvair.ai.
  • Research assessments: Free online assessments that produce personalized profiles based on your responses. Available at corvair.ai/research/.
  • Advisory services: Professional advisory and implementation services provided under separate engagement agreements.
  • Admin console: Administrative tools for authorized users at admin.corvair.ai.

3. Research Assessment Terms

3.1 Assessment Purpose

Our research assessments are designed to provide personalized insights about your relationship with AI in the workplace. They are research instruments, not professional advice. Results should not be used as the sole basis for career, employment, or organizational decisions.

3.2 Research Participation

When you complete an assessment, you choose whether to contribute your anonymized responses to our research dataset. If you opt in, your responses are anonymized and aggregated with other participants to produce research findings. You may choose "personal use only" to receive your results without contributing to research.

3.3 Assessment Results

Your assessment results are generated algorithmically based on your responses. Profiles and scores are indicative, not diagnostic. They reflect patterns in your self-reported experience and are subject to the limitations described in our Research Methodology.

4. User Accounts and Authentication

You may use our research assessments anonymously. If you choose to sign in (via Google, LinkedIn, or email), you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We use Firebase Authentication provided by Google Cloud to manage sign-in.

By signing in with a third-party provider (Google or LinkedIn), you authorize us to access the profile information (name, email, profile picture) that the provider makes available, subject to your settings with that provider.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

All content on corvair.ai, including text, graphics, assessment instruments, scoring methodologies, profile definitions, research findings, and the Proxy.Me book content, is the intellectual property of Corvair Pte Ltd. Three patent applications have been filed in Singapore covering aspects of our governance methodology.

5.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit (assessment responses, feedback, open text responses). By submitting responses with research opt-in enabled, you grant Corvair a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use your anonymized responses for research purposes as described in our Research Methodology.

5.3 Sharing

You may share your assessment results (profile cards, result pages) for personal and professional purposes. You may not represent Corvair's research findings as your own work or use our assessment instruments in competing products or services.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false or misleading information in assessments
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our assessment instruments, scoring algorithms, or profile definitions
  • Use automated tools to complete assessments or access our APIs without authorization
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Use our services for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' data, or administrative functions

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process data as described in that policy and in our Research Methodology.

8. Disclaimers

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Specifically:

  • Assessment results are not professional career advice, psychological assessments, or employment recommendations.
  • Regulatory information on our website is for educational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. Consult qualified legal counsel for specific regulatory compliance questions.
  • Research findings are based on convenience samples and self-reported data, subject to the limitations described in our methodology.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Corvair Pte Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our services.

10. Advisory Services

Professional advisory and implementation services are governed by separate engagement agreements between Corvair and the client organization. These Terms of Service apply to the website and research platform only, not to contracted advisory engagements.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
