From Proxy.Me: Agentic AI Digital Apprentices, Appendix E
The book's full vocabulary in one place, and the quick reference that distills the operating model onto a few pages.
Every operating model needs precise language, or its ideas dissolve into the vocabulary people already have: "agent," "automation," "AI tool." Proxy.Me introduces a small set of terms, Kinetic Organization, Proxy, Role, Scenario, the Mesh, the Work Graph, that name the mechanisms the book describes and keep them distinct from the generic AI vocabulary already crowding the enterprise.
This appendix does two things. It distills the operating model into six one-line takeaways, one per part of the book, as a quick reference. And it collects the working glossary used throughout the site: the core terms, where each is introduced in the book, and a working definition. For the full, searchable version of this glossary with filtering, see the interactive glossary on Inside the Book.
One key insight per part, in order. Together they trace the book's argument from diagnosis to consequence.
Corporate amnesia is not inevitable. It is a design failure, and a reversible one. When knowledge flows, it compounds.
A job description specifies what someone is expected to do. A Kinetic Role tells someone how to think. A job description supports employment. A Kinetic Role supports momentum.
Traditional organizations orchestrate through meetings. Kinetic Organizations orchestrate through structure.
Leadership ceases to be about holding everything together. It becomes the act of designing a self-assembling system.
Trust becomes the rational reaction to a system that provides explainability, coherence, and transparency.
The most dangerous failure mode of this era is not malicious automation. It is the illusion of control.
Sixteen core terms from across the book. Not exhaustive, the full glossary runs longer inside the paperback, but every term an early reader is likely to need while working through this site.
