Every deployment includes Sage, at no charge. She is always on.
Sage is a virtual worker who looks after the other workers. She watches every worker, queue and service, balances work between workers, coaches a worker privately mid-conversation, chases promises and requests, and escalates what she cannot settle. She writes reports and briefs your team each morning and evening. When a person asks, she does what that person can do, within the delegation they set. She never talks to customers, and she never presses the stop switch.
At Northcott Fluid Power, Sage looks after five workers: Morgan, Avery, Riley, Quinn and Jordan.
| Job | What she does | At Northcott |
|---|---|---|
| Watches | Every worker, queue and service, around the clock. | Sees Morgan's queue grow while Avery's is empty. |
| Balances | Starts and stops clones within each worker's limit, and moves waiting items between workers that share a queue. | Starts Morgan-3 when three inbound chats arrive at once. |
| Coaches | Sends a worker a private note mid-conversation when it goes off track. | Maria Delgado is frustrated about the price. Sage tells Morgan, mid-chat: “Acknowledge the distributor price before you raise it with Sam.” Maria's mood recovers to neutral. |
| Chases | Checks due dates, promised callbacks and open requests, and reminds whoever owns them. | Reminds Sam Ortega at 13:30 that Maria expects his answer by 14:00. |
| Escalates | Sends what she cannot settle to the human supervisor at once. | A flagged conversation, a stuck item, an unhealthy clone, a service down. |
| Acts for a person | Does what that person can do in CVW, when they ask, within the delegation they set. | "Sage, approve Maria's price at 228." |
| Writes reports | On request or on a schedule, checked against a rubric. | The weekly activity and value report, every Monday. |
| Briefs the team | A morning brief and an end-of-day summary, and answers questions in chat. | "What's slipping today?" |
What Sage did, and what she asked of Sam Ortega, the inside sales lead. Most lines need nothing from Sam. Two need a decision.
Your administrators set what Sage does alone and what she asks first.
Delegation is set by group of actions. For each group, Sage may do it when asked, must confirm with the person first, or never does it. Here is how Sam might set his.
| Group of actions | Sam's setting | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Decide requests | When asked | Sam says "approve Maria's price at 228", and Sage approves it. |
| Manage work | When asked | Sage adds, stops or reassigns items when Sam asks. |
| Control workers | Confirm first | Sage checks with Sam before she switches a worker, changes its mode or sets its clones. |
| Accept lessons | Confirm first | Sage shows Sam the lesson and waits for his yes. |
| Change settings | Never | Sage does not change settings for Sam, even when he asks. |
Sage has no on/off switch and no working hours. Only the stop switch stops her. She runs one clone.
Ask her a question, such as "What's slipping today?", or give her an instruction. She carries it out within your delegation.
Like any worker, she has her own notes file and her own activity stream, so you can see what she did and when.
Actions taken, coaching given and escalations, over the same time windows as any worker's scorecard.
Each report type is defined by a template, instructions, guidelines, a rubric and an executive summary template.
Recordings, briefings and exports are shared the same way, by role.
Tell us who on your team decides prices, terms and exceptions today. We will show what Sage would chase, what she would escalate, and what each person could delegate to her.
